In school, we were taught that spelling matters. In that case, they were talking about letters and how they go together.
Out in the real world, spelling DOES matter. But I’m not talking about ordering letters correctly, I’m talking about the SPELL your language casts out into reality when you speak.
Growing up, I was taught that magic was evil. I was also taught that praying was good–that directing my awareness and my emotion in THAT way was “OK.”
I wasn’t awake enough to realize these are the very same process. Ha.
If you begin to consider that, with every word you utter, you are sending out energy into the world where it will interact with the raw material of reality and create something, how you “spell” all of a sudden takes on a new level of importance.
Think about the energetic signature of words like, “should, would, could, can’t…”
Now think about the energetic signature of words like, “yes, definitely, ready, be.”
Are you sending out “spells” that create what you want or the opposite of what you want?
You can give yourself a pretty good education in this by paying close attention to the words and corresponding vibrations you are using throughout your life and business.
There are tons of self-help books about thinking and the power of the mind, but I can’t recall ever seeing one helping you get control of your “spelling…” the energetic spells you cast with your words.
The “powers that were” have crafted our language pretty well to limit people in their creative acts. They’ve set it up so we actively create our own limitation.
But you can remove those limits. You can reject the programming. You can use the power of spelling in your favor instead of against yourself.
Oops… I was wrong about not being able to recall a book about this topic. I can think of one. It’s a short one written by a Daily Journal reader. It might just shift the way you “spell” forever.
